Brian S. Schooner Bay Taxi Saved Our Wedding! 

We got married in Rockport, ME Labor Day Weekend 2014.  My wife grew up outside of Bangor, ME, but we currently live and making wedding plans from Chicago, IL.  To fill you in on a little back story - we had a Rockland based trolley service recommended to us that we had intended to use for our rehearsal dinner and wedding day transportation for around 100 people.  Two days before the wedding, they nearly doubled the rate that we discussed on the phone, and ultimately cancelled on us.  You can imagine how frantic we were, or I guess i should say "I was" because transportation was my responsibility.  This was a destination wedding for nearly all of our guests, so it was very important to us that guests enjoy themselves and not worry about transportation.  

    In a panic, I did what anybody with a smart phone would do, I Googled Rockland Maine Transportation.  As luck would have it, up popped C&R Merritt Transportation, Inc. (Schooner Bay Limo & Taxi).  With one phone call to C & R Merritt Transportation, our wedding was back on track.  A short time after hanging up the phone with Chris and Renita, they emailed an estimate with a schedule of service and times.  Please keep in mind that this was Labor Day weekend and they were extremely busy.  They were able to stay within our budget, and accommodated all our needs.  Schooner Bay handled our rehearsal dinner handled our rehearsal dinner transportation (to and from multiple hotels, to the Samoset Resort), and day of wedding transportation (multiple hotels to ceremony at Rockport Harbor, to reception venue, and finally multiple shuttles back and forth from reception to hotels).  The drivers were awesome and very friendly, the vans and shuttle bus were clean and comfortable, and I can't express enough  how thankful I am that they played such an important part in our wedding weekend.  Thank you Chris and Renita!!

Made an appointment with Schooner Bay Taxi to pick me up at the RKD Airport.  They were there right on time.  The next day, I had an appointment for them to pick me up at 8:00 am and they were early! Very pleasant and friendly.  Nice conversation.  Reasonable rates and exactly what they quoted me by phone.  Will definitely use again@ Thank you!

A: No, our prices are flat rate.

Q: Do you take credit cards?

A: Yes.  Our vehicles are equipped with square readers. 

Q: Do you take reservations?

A: Yes, we require 24 hour notice for reservations.

Dear Snookie,

     We just celebrated our first anniversary on July 23! We thought of you and how you picked us up at the Rockland Harbor Hotel, with an elegant white Lincoln, and took us to the First Congregational Church, Camden. 

     We think of our day often and remember how you took such special care of us: Church--photos--transportation, etc.
